This version of the game focuses on 104 nouns and verbs which are all about the les voyages et les vacances. This game work for any level as it is written in French and English. Want a real challenge for your upper levels or immersion students? Use the French only version! Included: 2 versions with vocabulary written in French and English 2 versions with vocabulary written in French only Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and use it as a whole class activity. This game includes 104 words. Many of the words may be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice forming questions, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words. After they’ve played the games a few times looking at the French-English version they feel more prepared to move on to the French only version. You could also photocopy a two sided version, one with English and French and the other with French only. One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word. The student who has chosen the secret word can answer using the following responses: OUI - NON - PARFOIS - RAREMENT - GÉNÉRALEMENT - PEUT-ÊTRE - CELA DÉPEND - PROBABLEMENT Alternative game play: To change up the game and to make it more challenging as well as practicing other skills, have the student who chooses the secret word describe it to others in the group. Instead of asking questions about the secret word, other students listen to the description and guess it.

L'Heure - French Time - 24 Hour Clock - J'ai...Qui a... - I have...Who has

L’Heure - French Time - 24 Hour Clock - J’ai…Qui a… - I have…Who has This 24 hour clock French game for telling time includes 21 cards. Depending on class size you can give each student more than one card or have them play in smaller groups. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again. See the list of times used below or check out the preview to have a sneak peak at all of the cards. How it works: Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says Je commence le jeu begins the activity. He says, for example, Je commence le jeu. Qui a 13h30? The person who has the card with J’ai 13h30 on it says, J’ai 13h30. Qui a 17h15? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student’s card will say, J’ai _____. Le jeu est terminé! Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. It’s a very engaging and fun activity! Included: 21 black and white cards - 4 per page Times used: 13h30 17h15 12h00 19h17 16h20 14h00 18h25 12h15 15h35 20h10 19h08 20h30 21h45 23h53 16h10 18h22 0h00 17h45 21h40 14h55
